Gabriel Costello is a poet originally from south of Chicago. His work has recently appeared in Gulf Coast, Quarterly West, New Letters, the Bear Review and Afternoon Visitor. His book reviews have appeared in Meridian. His writing has been supported by fellowships from the Vermont Studio Center and Community of Writers. He believes in pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will.
