Christian Daichi Carlson
Christian Daichi Carlson is a PhD candidate in the English Department. He is currently at work on his dissertation, “‘she shall outdistance calamity anywhere she goes’: Modernist Women’s Ecopolitical Poetics,” which reads the interwar verse experiments of Marianne Moore, Anne Spencer, and Lorine Niedecker from the vantage of contemporary ecocritical thought. He has shared his work across conferences including MLA, MSA, and INSL.
